A Good Heart

​Hebrews 10:22, “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”

You must have an honest heart before God. Come before Him in the emptiness of all strength, imploring God to give you strength from above. God will always come to the aid of a heart that is honest before Him. A heart that says, “Lord, I’m struggling, and I need your help.” Help will come speedily to a heart that is true. You can come close to God in full assurance of faith, knowing that God hears and He cares for you!

God will not hear the prayers of those who are rebellious and despise His truth, sinning before Him and then coming to Him for grace and mercy with unconfessed and unrepentant sin. No grace or mercy will come, no matter how much faith they muster. Then these same people wonder why God is not moving in their lives. You must come to God honestly. ~ Richard
