​A Kind Word | Intimacy With Christ | Richard Wafford

As a Christian, you have a responsibility to those around you. Isaiah 50:4: “The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned.”
 
A kind word can refresh, reenergize, and renew a person who is weary and longing for a good friend. You are the lighthouse to the world, a beacon of hope and direction. Through the Holy Spirit’s discipleship program that everyone goes through, you are called to speak a kind word of love, hope, and peace, pointing them to Christ. This shows others that they do not have to carry their heavy burdens alone. Nor do they fight battles alone. Nor do they walk alone, for Jesus is with them every step of the way. Without this knowledge, they will continue to wander aimlessly, weighed down by the cares and burdens of living in a fallen world. God wants to use you today to bring hope to a lost world seeking answers. Be that light that God can use today. ~ Richard
