John 15:16, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit.”
 
Many people second-guess their decisions, hoping they will lead to the outcome they want. One thing you must know about God is that He didn’t second-guess His choice to call you to follow Him. He knew you before you were born in the womb, was fully aware of your character flaws, weaknesses, and the sins that easily beset you, and He chose you anyway. When God looked at you, He saw what you would become; He saw your passion, determination, and constant pursuit of Him. He saw what you would leave behind for Him. He saw in you the ability to bear much fruit in the kingdom. He chose your quirky, fun-loving, or serious and straightforward nature to influence others for His kingdom in a way no one else could. You are special in God's eyes, and you have a purpose. You have a reason for being you! ~ Richard
