That the Bible is entirely inspired by God, free from errors in the original manuscripts, and serves as God's complete and final written revelation (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21).
There is one God, eternal and unchanging, who reveals Himself through three distinct Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).
That Jesus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah(John 1:36-42), born of a virgin(Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:34-35), completely without sin(Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26), God in human flesh (John 1:1 & 14; John 20:28), the One who died on the cross for the sins of the world (1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9), was buried(John 19:40-42), rose again from the dead on the third day (John 2:19), and ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven, where He now intercedes for us who believe in Him(Mark 16:19; Acts 7:56; 1 Timothy 2:5).
Jesus Christ will return in the clouds to rapture His church before the tribulation that will come upon the entire earth(John 14:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). He will return again at the end of the tribulation, accompanied by His saints and all His holy angels, to establish His kingdom—ruling and reigning forever (Matthew 24; Revelation 19).
Every person is born with a sinful nature and is spiritually lost. Salvation comes solely through personal faith in Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, not by any human effort or good deeds(John 3:16-19; John 5:24; Romans 3:10; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).
There is a literal devil, Satan, who currently seeks to deceive the world and keep them from accepting Jesus Christ’s offer of salvation. He seeks to deceive, distract, demoralize, and victimize believers by reminding them of their past life in sin. He seeks to prevent believers from reaching and realizing their full potential for power and authority in Christ. He seeks to undermine God's work. (Cunning, Genesis 3:1; must ask God for permission, Job 1:6-12; Provoked King David to number the people, 1 Chronicles 21:1; The temptation of Jesus, Matthew 4:1-11; To sift Peter as wheat, hatred for man, Luke 22:31-32; Destined to be cast into Hell, Revelation 20:10).
That Heaven is a real, literal place where all committed believers will dwell forever, and that Hell is a literal place of torment where unbelievers will dwell forever (John 14:1-3; Revelation 20:11-15; Revelation 21:8; Revelation 22:5).
Genuine believers are reborn through the Holy Spirit of God. They are filled with the Spirit, united with the body of Christ—the true church—and marked with the Spirit’s seal. Consequently, they are inseparable from the love of Jesus Christ (John 3:1-6; Acts 1:4-5; Romans 8:35-39; Ephesians 1:13-14).
Every believer must be filled with and empowered by the Holy Spirit to lead a godly life (Titus 2:11-12), and you will receive power to be witnesses for the Lord (Acts 1:8). Put to death the sinful deeds of the body (Romans 8:13-14); the Spirit of God dwells in you (1 Corinthians 3:16); the body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20); do not grieve (Ephesians 4:30); be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18).
All genuine believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are spiritually united, a unity evidenced by the use of spiritual gifts and reflected in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, especially His love.(1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 4:8-12).
Israel has a unique role in God’s plan—past, present, and future—and all of God's promises to Israel will be fulfilled now and at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, when He will establish His millennial reign.(Genesis 12:3; Psalm 122:1)
God directly created humans as male and female to fully reflect His image, and both genders work together to produce life(Genesis 1:26-28).
Marriage, as described in the Bible, is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, limiting sexual relations to a monogamous, heterosexual marriage (Genesis 2:24). That the solemnization of a marriage is a sacred act ordained by God and a profound event that should occur only when the proposed covenantal union aligns with the Word of God (Genesis 4:1).
Officiating a marriage between men and women of the same sex goes against God's Word and is considered a sin before Him (Romans 1:21-27).
All human beings are God’s image bearers. Scripture designates unborn babies as children from conception in their mother’s womb, as evidenced by the continued use of terms for children both before and after birth and by the use of personal pronouns to refer to children from conception through birth. This affirms that the unborn are God’s image bearers, innately possessing supreme value and worth, and aligns with Scripture's command to protect innocent life(Psalm 139:15-16; Jeremiah 1:5).
Abortion in all its forms is morally unjustifiable and represents the indefensible taking of human life; in short, abortion is murder. We oppose theologically any teaching that considers abortion permissible because of rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection, birth or population control, or concerns about the mother's physical or mental well-being. We also oppose providing any financial support for abortions, whether directly or through third parties such as insurance providers. We object to any teaching, ethic, or political view that advocates abortion. (Ephesians 1:4).
Based on clear biblical teaching and obedience to the Holy Scriptures, life should be preserved without exception (Genesis 9:6).
Intimacy With Christ believes that all human beings are loved by God, who desires to be enjoyed by them and for them to enjoy Him in eternity. For this reason, Jesus Christ came into the world, and through faith in Him alone, people can be reconciled to God through His sacrifice. He invites everyone, regardless of the severity of their sins, to repent and turn to Him in faith, and by that faith He grants forgiveness and access to His home, heaven, forever!
